TITLE: Python Developer
CLIENT: Energy Company
LOCATION: Houston, Texas (Energy Corridor)
TYPE: Contract (On-site)
RATE: $60-65/hour DOE
SUMMARY:
• Manage and develop python-based models along with large-scale optimization
• Support corporate energy software development team working in an Agile framework
• Integrate python models along with automated data sets and user interfaces
• Prepare project estimate analysis to deliver features meeting customer acceptance criteria
• Work with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to translate Customer needs into application features
• Provide technical and operational support for applications built
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and other developers in the organization
REQUIREMENTS:
• Oil and gas experience is preferred
• 3-5 years' experience working with Python
• Versed in machine learning AI, mathematical optimization linear
onlinear integer programming, developer in python
• Experience working on data driven analytical and optimization projects
EDUCATION: Master's Degree or PHD in Engineer, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics (highly preferred)
