TYPE: Contract (Hybrid & Remote)

RATE: $40-50/hour DOE


SUMMARY:
Candidate must be versed in web content creation, SEO optimization, and delivery for multiple product lines and/or consumer based services.

DUTIES:
• Create, edit, and publish compelling content for our consumer-facing website experience to drive engagement and conversions
• Collaborate with a variety of digital, marketing, and subject matter experts to produce web content for product pages, marketing landing pages
• Compile FAQs, long-form educational web content, and instructional/transactional content to guide users through digital journeys
• Ensure content complies with brand standards, web usability, and search engine best practices
• Create new web content from scratch to support business needs leveraging research and organizational insights
• Support Digital Content Manager to write, edit, review and publish content for various digital projects
• Launch content into test and production environments using CMS and adhering to internal approval and technical processes
• Assist with content updates on the website within our CMS, i.e. build landing pages, update or remove existing pages, fix issues such as broken links or HTML errors, update metadata
• Manage troubleshooting and site audits to ensure UX, SEO, accessibility, regulatory compliance, and technical set-up adhere to best practices and business goals


REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of experience in writing and editing web content, and familiar with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Shopify, Drupal, AEM, Joomla, or Magento
• 3+ years of experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms such as Sitecore, Shopify, Drupal, AEM, Joomla, or Magento
• Technical proficiency in HTML
• Energy experience preferred, but not required
• SEO experience preferred, but not required
• Expertise in inter-team communication
• Analytical and strong organizational and project management skills with excellent verbal and written ability
• Proficiency with MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Access
• Open office environment, frequent work from home
• Some overtime required as special projects arise
• Travel TBD


EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field
