RATE: $28-30/hour DOE

SUMMARY:
• Support and drive financial and operational performance of Texas based energy company marketing B2B and to small commercial business
• Perform a diverse range of assignments, projects and activities related to financial planning, supply management and portfolio optimization
• Update CRM tools coordinating client communications and managing existing business updates to practices and product portfolios
• Propose and facilitate workable solutions and drive business initiatives to completion

DUTIES:
• Develop, support and maintain a robust suite of financial forecasting model applications
• Provide management with accurate and timely financial and operational reports that will support business decisions
• Propose strategic recommendations that will enhance business value and drive performance improvement related to financial and operational metrics – customer count, acquisition, retention, and EBITDA
• Monitor, analyze and report key performance metrics and manage large data sets
• Lead special projects to address pressing business needs
• Identify opportunities for improvement and engage in cross-functional initiatives to drive process improvement


REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years work experience with corporate energy firm or professional services company in CRM analysis
• Familiar developing Excel spreadsheets with pivot tables and graphs and supporting energy portfolio management teams
• Background in Financial Forecasting, Market Analytics, Supply Management or Risk Management is BIG plus
• MUST be detail oriented and highly organized with robust analytical, mathematical and/or statistical skills
• MUST have advanced proficiency in MS Excel, and proficiency in SAS (or equivalent) and/or SQL is a plus
• Understanding of revenue forecasting, gross margin analysis or P&L reporting experience preferred
• Deregulated retail and wholesale electricity markets experience preferred but not required
• Ability to understand, manage and compile large data sets

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Engineering preferred
