TITLE: Marketing Assistant | Business Development

CLIENT: Professional Services Firm

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

TYPE: Contract (6 month assignment)

RATE: $25-28/hour DOE

SUMMARY:
• Update CRM database compiling confidential client information such as contracts, proposals and competitive analysis
• Create daily status reports updating clients projects in PowerPoint with Excel graphs, charts, and pivot tables
• Facilitate client communications email marketing surveys, RFI, RFQ, and RFP reporting, legal and industry directories
• Develop Excel reports to track recent deals and rankings for use in business development efforts
• Support CRM maintenance of marketing campaigns and client lists within company contact management database
• Coordinate client events, trade shows, conference sponsorships, seminars, retreats, training programs
• Write, draft and edit marketing communications content, including PowerPoint presentations and proposals
• Track proposal and RFP responses to clients and prospective clients, including periodic reports on proposal activity
• Manage client data research, collecting customer competitive analysis reports and documenting historical proposal data
• Prepare Ad Hoc budget reports to finalize and process check requests, invoices, and event logistics for marketing campaigns
• Coordinate event marketing communications, digital media support and maintain client and company brand guidelines
• Monitor marketing information gathering and market research requests as needed
• Maintain project financial planning and expenses for annual budget reporting
• Assist with team implementation of marketing surveys, client promotions and collateral development

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 years of Marketing Communications experience with a corporate Energy Oil & Gas company, agency, and/or professional services firm
• MUST be acclimated to working in a fast paced environment, with executive management team, departmental supervisors and corporate stakeholders
• MUST leverage exceptional writing skills and provide an online portfolio of marketing samples
• Advanced knowledge MS Office software, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio, Access and Project Management software

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field is required
