RATE: $30-33/hour DOE

SUMMARY:
• Streamline market intelligence initiatives supporting business teams from both market research and customer relationship management units
• Facilitate market research data from large data sets and compile business analysis
• Disseminate data analysis in Excel spreadsheet with pivot tables, charts and graphs in reports
• Coordinate in-depth information about current and future markets, industry trends, customers, competitors, sales, and product performance
• Provide detailed requirements analysis, process improvement and support for business development teams and marketing business systems

DUTIES:
• Supports the Market Intelligence team in analyzing market data generating presentations and other deliverables that enable senior management to make strategic decisions
• Incorporate thorough understand of Energy Oil and Gas exploration and production (E&P) market drivers data analysis and critical business models
• Manage day-to-day aspects of market research assignments, including project management and reporting.
• Supports CRM implementation (Salesforce.com), which includes training, support, requirements analysis, reporting and bug fixing
• Find and manage quantitative and qualitative market data from primary and secondary sources, effectively distilling and distributing critical information
• Maintain databases of industry information relevant to corporate business segments
• Analyze data to identify industry trends, calculate market share, and assess customers’ and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses
• Create visually compelling graphs and slides that depict data gathered to communicate findings to the executive team with input from the analysis team
• Prepare and create status reports and distribute a weekly internal industry newsletter
• Develop PowerPoint presentations and attend weekly sales meetings
• Manage sales and market information in SharePoint and Salesforce
• Create reports and dashboards using Salesforce.com to inform business planning
• Provide Salesforce.com support to the sales team including conducting training, answering questions, helping with bug fixes and performing user acceptance testing
• Perform requirements analysis. Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
• Document results, and conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
• Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance. Update, implement and maintain procedures.
• Help ensure complete and accurate information is in Salesforce.com, including contacts, opportunities, programs, and pricing information


REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 to 4 years working with large datasets and in market research role within Energy Oil & Gas or Engineering company
• MUST have working knowledge of Arc(GIS) business management systems
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Pivot tables, graphs, charts, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in CRM Salesforce or other customer relationship management program, project management software tools
• Familiar with Enterprise systems such as SharePoint


EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Market Strategy, Business Management or related field
