TITLE: Domestic Land Logistics Specialist

SALARY: $90,000-100,000

• Facilitate land logistics managing the overall North American territory coordinating land logistics via trains, trucks and containers
• Create and implement logistical plan strategy that supports continuous development and growth
• Build an existing relationship in the market of logistics service providers leveraging key vendor partnerships
• Ensure a seamless integration of business units supporting multiple product lines with land logistics capabilities and offerings


• Implement successful negotiations with service providers related to land logistics and ensuring efficient logistics
• Manage team of vendor logistic suppliers through efficient follow-up procedures and leading corrective actions as appropriate
• Play an important role in developing logistical overviews and a strategy plan to streamline trains, trucks and containers
• Work as part of the Land Logistics unit to significantly develop and manage unitized trains, trucks and containers via land logistics in North America
• Create and implement a successful strategy for continuous development and growth
• Contract and develop relationships with trucking companies, train operators and container service suppliers
• Develop performance management of above mentioned logistics service suppliers
• Compile accurate market information and competitive intelligence of the land logistics for shareholder meetings and executive management team


• 5 to 10 years of working experience in the North American logistical industry, preferably in the railway industry
• Knowledge and experience in liquid unitized transports for this industry; including tallow and greases
• Must have a strong knowledge in developing land logistics in North America along with bringing in-depth knowledge and experience of land logistics markets
• Hands-on manager able to utilize their knowledge and experience to build a successful logistics model for this developing business
• Experience in managing logistics service providers and in the development of new business from scratch and capable of "out of the box thinking"
• Proven track record within the logistical field and deep understanding of logistic processes required in this environment
• Good understanding of future trends in land logistics and analytical thinking
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability and willingness to work in intercultural environment
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills spoken in English, other languages are considered as an advantage
• Advanced working knowledge of online business management tools, Excel, and MS project software program


• Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain Management or related field
