SALARY: $125,000-130,000 DOE

SUMMARY:
• Develop communication strategy and manage the development of overall corporate communications
• Lead the development of strategic communications plans managing corporate communications, including internal, external, and executive communications
• Spearhead public/media relations in alignment with company goals

DUTIES:
• Work in close collaboration with a broad range of internal partners including Human Resources, Investor Relations, Community Relations, Legal, Information Technology, Operations, and the Executive Leadership
• Manage enterprise-wide internal communications through all channels, including quarterly updates to employees, all-employee emails, and company newsletters
• Partner with Investor Relations to support investor/financial media relations (i.e., press releases, scripts, slides) and investor meetings/events, as well as assisting in the preparation of the annual report and other associated investor communications
• Assist with the development of company sustainability program and support the annual sustainability reporting process
• Manage, with support of internal content owners, the external company website, and lead the development and execution of a social media communication strategy (for all audiences)
• Serve as trusted communications advisor to the CEO and other company executives. Prepare speeches and talking points as needed for external communication
• Serve as primary contact for media inquiries regarding operations, people, and assets
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key international, national, local and trade media and business contacts
• Draft and distribute press releases and social media content, ensuring compliance with corporate disclosure and comment policies
• Manage external communications and public relations resources
• Manage Corporate Social Responsibility program communications (internally and externally)
• Work in collaboration with the Legal Department and others to prepare certain reports, quarterly, annually
• Lead the development and implementation of crisis response communications, if/as needed, from messaging through communication response and media coverage/management

REQUIREMENTS:
• 10+ years corporate communications, and public affairs experience
• Proven track record of drafting high quality communication materials for public company executives is required
• Demonstrated experience in establishing corporate communications departments, including a build from scratch experience
• Demonstrated experience in developing a communications strategy within an organization, in conjunction with key internal stakeholders
• Strong relationship building skills and experience working collaboratively with internal key stakeholders, external partners, vendors, suppliers, analyst communities
• Superior attention to detail; high level of organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of management required
• Strong presentation skills and ability to confidentially interact with executive management team and Board of Directors
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively build and manage relationships with cross-functional colleagues, business leaders, external stakeholders
• Ability to independently develop recommendations on strategy, process improvements and deliverables based on prior experience and industry knowledge
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
• Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word abilities

EDUCATION:
• B.S. in Communication, PR, Journalism, English, or related field. Masters/MBA preferred.
