SUMMARY:
• Business Development professional leveraging a successful career within the international law, litigation and/or professional services industry
• Support corporate Litigation practice focused on the client relationship working within a team environment committed to helping others
• Must be acclimated to working within a fast-paced environment high functioning “Client Development” team known for their collegiality, business acumen and positivity
• Lead business development and marketing initiatives for the Antitrust and Competition Law, White Collar Criminal Defense, and Privacy and Data Security practices

DUTIES:
• Develop and execute on the practice group business development plans and budgets in consultation with corporate management team
• Provide direction managing proposal production, and track success ratio of proposals and RFP responses for the practices
• Implement campaign measurement best practices tracking ROI of conference sponsorships, client seminars, tradeshows, and events related to the promotion of practice initiatives
• Collaborate with marketing communications teams to drive awareness, recognition and enhance brand perception of the practices and their lawyers
• Drive and support client engagement initiatives for the practices, including legal updates and other thought leadership initiatives; client presentations, meetings, and conference events; and client, industry, and competitor research
• Participate in the firm’s key client program supporting competitive analysis, and market research programs
• Work in tandem with the firm’s corporate energy, industrial manufacturing, and technology sectors
• Manage practice industry submissions for chambers, Legal 500, and other major award submissions for the practices and their lawyers
• Contribute to the coaching, mentoring and development of client development staff members

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of professional services industry experience, including two or more years of client development or management experience
• Experience in developing and executing marketing and business development strategies for Antitrust and Competition Law practices required
• Able to work well with a variety of levels within an organization and possess diplomacy, enthusiasm, perseverance, and a sense of humor; experience working on decentralized teams a plus
• Strong skills in written/verbal communication, organizational ability, and project management
• Should possess solid business acumen and experience in researching and interpreting company data
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
• Strong skills in MS Office software, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with InterAction a plus; knowledge of web-based legal database systems a plus, particularly Lex Machina and Monitor Suite
• Some overtime and travel is required

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or J.D. a plus.
