RATE: $100-120/hour DOE

The Agile Coach will coach, support and mentor product teams including Scrum Masters Product Owners, Technical Leads, etc by providing expert knowledge in Agile methods and championing teams to adopt and implementation of Agile practices. Acts as a change agent who helps articulate leadership vision and transformation goals while providing leadership on removing impediments to Agile success and provides coaching of mindset shifts in the journey to Agile. Designs, develops and facilitates training of Agile practices to assigned teams. Performs evaluations, and reviews of processes and methodologies. Identifies strengths and continuous improvement recommendations of existing processes

• Evaluate current processes and assist teams in identifying waste, impediments and experiments towards future improvement
• Provide thought leadership in Agile and DevOps transformation
• Train and guide teams, managers, stakeholders and executives to implement Agile development approaches
• Foster collaboration, autonomous, self-organizing, empowered and continuously improving teams
• Coach and mentor at all levels the transformation to an Agile, continuously adapting organization
• Monitor, measure, and report on progress of Agile adoption and promote continuous improvement to help teams increase velocity
• Help teams identify impediments and waste and creates solutions to remove them
• Collaborate and partner with other Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters across the organization
• Experience with transitioning software teams to an agile framework
• Excellent skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Understand and address business drivers for an Agile transformation
• Experience as professional coach, facilitator, mentor, trainer and change agent.
• Strong presence, drive for results, attention to relevant details and collaborative attitude
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices with the ability to instill that knowledge at all levels of the organization
• Ability to read team and organizational culture and know how to shape or leverage it to move towards agility
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Senior Agile Leadership skills with an ability to lead by example and shape command and control behaviors into Agile leadership behaviors
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environment
• Able to articulate and promote the value of DevOps concepts and technical practices

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner on an agile team
• 5+ years of experience successfully leading large-scale Agile transformations with methods such as XP, Scrum, Lean or Kanban
• 10+ years of Software Product Development experience
• Experience with SAP development teams, and people management experience
• Experience with Organizational Change, Organizational Design and Change Management frameworks
• Management experience at medium to large enterprise company and/or manager at solution based professional services firm
• Advanced Agile Certification, such as CSP, SPC, LeSS

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in science or technology or business-related field
