Description: ABOUT OUR CLIENT- Large Oil & Gas Services Company - Located in North HoustonJOB SUMMARYProvides guidance and support to assigned business unit(s) via resolution to support calls, developing processes, assisting with testing, implementations, resolving project issues, etc.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- 4+ years experience configuring and implementing Oracle Financials, with an emphasis on * Accounts Receivables* Advanced Collections* Cash Management* Vertex* Project accounting* Service contracts* Oracle iReceivables- Expert-level hands-on (NOT lead/manager) AR experience * Full understanding of order to cash process * Heavy configuration experience * Advanced troubleshooting skills- Experience with 2+ Oracle implementations- Minimum version requirement 11.5.10- 20% travel requiredPREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish - R12 version / implementation experience, will be upgrading in the future - Oil & gas domain experience - 3+ years of financials and accounting experience- Working knowledge of the following Oracle modules: * Inventory* Purchasing* Cost Management* Work In Progress- SQL writing skills- Oracle Discoverer knowledge- Experience organizing, writing, and controlling process flow, navigation, and procedure documents- Experience providing instruction and training of various Oracle eBusiness Suite applications- A valid PassportFUNCTIONAL SKILLS- Organization and documentation skills- Must be able to work under pressure- Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the departmentEDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- High School Diploma or equivalent required- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field desiredJOB DUTIES- Participate in projects and initiatives as an Oracle Accounts Receivables, Oracle Advanced Collections, and Oracle Cash Management project resource - Resolve and track escalated support calls related to Oracle Accounts Receivables, Oracle Advanced Collections and Oracle Cash Management- Develop business requirements and processes in support of all implementations- Design appropriate system solutions, translate business requirements into system configurations- Develop functional designs in support of global 11i implementation using SDLC/AIM methodology- Setup or configure business applications to support business requirements- Develop and executive system test plans- Develop and execute plans for deploying the applications into production- Identify and resolve project issues in furtherance of the project execution process- Oversee and facilitate the work of others (Developers and other analysts) in support of the project execution process- Train entry-level Application Analysts- Provide guidance and support the users in their efforts to become proficient in the use of the applications- Troubleshoot issues in the use and functioning of the applications- Work with technical developers and database administrators to correct issues in the functioning of the applications- Evaluate user proficiency and define training requirements to raise the level of proficiency of the users- Train users on the use of the business applicationsJOB TYPE- Direct hire - Start date: August 2010PAY & BENEFITS- $85 to 100K, depending on experience - Full company benefits
